Arranging a function that needs catering? We can highly recommend Urban Nosh Caterers in Hout Bay. They handle small dinner parties right up to large weddings, anniversaries, wakes and landmark birthdays.
Usually when I frequent Casareccios in Hout Bay I will order off the pizza menu. Jorge has perfected the thin crust pizza, and the namesake pizza, the Casareccio is my favourite! Yesterday I decided to try some of the Portuguese fare on the menu instead.
I can highly recommend the Trinchado. You won't find trinchado in Portugal, but it is said to have been created by Portuguese immigrants to South Africa and Mocambique.
Many people have tried to copy Jorge's secret recipe, but none have come close. Think I need to reschedule a visit to try out the Espetadas!
