Mother's Day is always a big deal in Hout Bay. Quite a few restaurants are already fully booked- seems Hout Bay first choice for spoiling Mom. Here are some quick links if you haven't already booked.

(Moms: if your significant other needs a hint we suggest you share this link!)
Lookout Deck will be bustling all weekend. They are famous for their seafood- but the also do a fab breakfast- and don't forget they have a sushi bar and a pizza oven.
Delish Restaurant is an intimate venue in a beautifully decorated old farmhouse. It is a favourite amongst locals, and I have heard it said that their healthy breakfast is the best in town!
La Cuccina If Mom had to choose this would probably be it. Quality breakfast and lunch buffet- it is "Food made with Love"
Spiro's Check out the Local Greek. It could be argued that nobody loves their mothers more than the Grecians . Better book!
Casareccios offer a Portuguese flavour- try out their trinchado
Dario's For Italian flavour visit Darios. Tip- try Rosella's famous Piadina
Gabriellla's In the Mainstream Mall- Gabriellas serves up family food, great coffee and there is always a lovely vibe.
Pure Restaurant is having a delicious Sunday Roast at only R195pp. I can guarantee Mom will remember this Mothers day for a long time to come.
Bay Harbour Market Is going to be busy busy this weekend. If you are looking for something different to do with Mom this year- the market could be it. Get there early for a fab breakfast. Afterwards treat yourself to a Belgian Waffle and if you are there later you must try the Zoop!
It is Sunday and the sun is shining. You can bet that many people will be descending on the harbour. For the best fish and chips we recommend you drive to the end of the road and try out Fish on the Rocks or Snoekies . Once you have your takeaway- find the pier to the right of Snoekies towards the sea. It's a little hidden treasure and there are usually a few surprises basking near the lighthouse.
