Bay Harbour Market is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Anthony Stroebel and Paul Rutzen.
Transforming a disused factory in a corner of the Hout Bay harbour into a venue attended by thousands of people every weekend took some serious vision and frankly big cahonies!
Open every Saturday and Sunday from 9am -4pm- this market stands apart from others in Cape Town because of its size, vibrancy and location. There is often live music and if you like funky you can find it here!
From a local perspective- what impresses us most is the social investment being made into the local community, not only with increased tourism in the area bit also directly by supporting local traders and creating industry that wasn't there before.
